Heavenly water is falling,
inside my car melodic,
The soft pitter-patter of
rain drops lolling
my eyes to sleep.
I’m transported
to a world of ease.
I wake up caught in the
world of struggle and pain.
Back inside, I see a girl looking
into the void of endless rain.
“Isn’t it beautiful,” I say
“Yes,” she responds
and walks away.
