Death has a way of cementing and devising.
Certain things are unforgivable-unlivable.
Tear off a piece of clothing I’m mourning-
Can’t you see? It’s just another day in
A lifespan of many. But-my pain is justified.
A person I loved just died. My heart grieves.
Not only for my departed, but for the living.
Last words ring in my ear, sad songs, sad movies
Sadness in me. Treachery so
dear from siblings so near,
I’m aghast at what they have done.
I’m mourning as you can see, for the living in me.
