Forest Wind Blows

Winds-
Rustling
around
pine cones-
whistling lovely
songs:

Nothing static-
nothing stops-
nothing…

Moving, winding
in between double
cypress
tops.

Haughty at
the pinnacle where,
speedy winds
are brought.

I’m Bound to catch-
the wind with my hand.
No matter how hard I try
I can’t-I’m empty
and
blank.

Dreams and aspirations
in my clenched fist.
like this fleeting wind
is beating-
whispered fragrances
I can’t philosophize-yet
Kant understands.

Soft threads
reminders of what
I want to be.
Found in the shell
of my empty-headedness.
Reason evades me!

Thrown-
loose strings,
stalking the
failures of my
deep
insecurities.

Fighting,
haunting-
Thorne becomes-
my temporary
reprieve.

Where do
leaves go?
Only-
the sailor’s
windward
Syncopating
breeze
ultimately
knows…
